Pilates was first developed in the 1920s by Joseph H. Pilates, and gained popularity among athletes and dancers due to the deep muscle toning and lengthening benefits. Although Pilates is not a new exercise concept, it is becoming one of the most popular exercise methods of our time. It is a gentler form or exercise that promotes muscle leanness and length rather than bulk. Pilates is safe and improves mind body awareness, injury prevention, balance, coordination and much more.

Pilates is one of the fastest growing forms of excecise in the world. In the United States, people participating in Pilates have grown from 1.7 million in 2000 to more than 11 million today.

So, Why is the Pilates method experiencing such dramatic growth, and how can it benefit you ... Come by for a visit and allow us to show you.
